How to Be Prepared for Your Final Exam ?!

  • 1
Get as much sleep as possible the night before the exam. You need to be rejuvenated and your mind to be renewed, and that won't happen if you are tired. While you're cramming for the exam, your mind is forced to study and take in so much that it literally becomes exhausted. If you don't rest your mind, then there is no energy left for it to access all the data you crammed in it. It's there but it's too tired to think. So, you need to rest your mind so that it can have the energy to access everything you put in it.

  • 2
Get up early enough in the day so that you can do all that you need to do without being rushed or put under stress. Allow enough time to shower and dress and eat and even walk around the block to get your adrenalin running.

  • 3
Eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast. Fruit is a great food to wake your mind up with. So, have a nice juicy fruit and some toast, eggs and some milk to start your day off right.

  • 4
Make sure you take all your books and supplies to the exam. You don't want to create stress by having your only pen run out of ink part way through the exam. So, take enough supplies to allow for that.

  • 5
Leave for the exam with enough time to allow for heavy traffic or poor weather. Don't put yourself under stress with the necessity to rush.

  • 6
Get to the exam ahead of time so that you can review your notes or ask your mentors questions. Your mind will be alert and able to comprehend the answers and you will walk into the exam prepared to write it.

How to Be Fresh and Original?!

Are you tired of feeling boring and uninteresting when you go to school everyday? What should you do? Here is an article that will tell you how to be fresh and original.

    1
Smile. It's an old trick, but smiling really does help! Learn how to smile. Practice a cute grin or cool smirk. Practice in front of the mirror for a few minutes. Get to know the smile that fits you best.

Be Hygienic. Hygiene is very important in making yourself 'fresh'. Be sure to wash your face, comb your hair, etc.

Be calm. Being calm helps bring your best self. On the outside, don't yell, or scream, or wave wildly at a best friend. Keep cool, and show off your flirty winks once a while, but otherwise, an almost indifferent expression will work. Stress will also be reduced when you're calm and help your skin look smoother.

    4
Try homemade facials. Homemade facials like avocado facials, yogurt facial, and more can really rejuvenate the skin without harmful chemicals

Avoid wearing makeup. This step is important to look original. Keep makeup to a minimum, so as to show your natural beauty.

Don't wear too many accessories. Wearing too many accessories can make people think that you're not original. That you're the expensive type. That you like to wear as much jewelery as you can. If you want to be original it is key that you don't wear a lot of jewelry. It is ok to wear earrings and maybe a necklace depending on what it is.

Look the part. It is key that you look like you belong wherever you are. Look original, and try not to look like a posh snob. Try not to look tarty. You can look a bit different to some people but not too different like wearing high-florescent colours and leg warmers.

    Make-Up Your Mind!

Are you standing at a fork in the road and don't know which way to turn? Has conflicting information or advice left you reeling and feeling confused? Here is how to quiet the storm and clarify your thinking so that you can make a firm, confident decision.

    Instructions

      • 1
WRITE IT DOWN - The best way make up your mind is to calm your internal storm and begin capturing those wild, unruly thoughts and ideas that are swirling around in your head. Put them down on paper. Allowing them to stay in your imagination allows them to grow into monsters of fantastic size. Let's bring them back into the realm of reality.
      • 2
ORGANIZE YOUR THOUGHTS - Draw a line down the center of the page in your notepad. Title one of the columns PROS and the other CONS. Begin by plucking those thoughts, ideas AND feelings, one-by-one from your mind and listing them on paper in either the PROS column or the CONS column.
      • 3
LIST THE PROS - Anything that will be a positive or benefit you in some way, either directly or through others (like your family), put in the PROS side.
      • 4
LIST THE CONS - Anything that will have an adverse or negative effect on either you or your family, list in this column.
      • 5
RANK YOUR RESULTS - Rate everything on your PROS side, with 1 being your top priority, on down to the lowest priority having the highest number. Do the same with the CONS side, giving number 1 to the biggest negative, and so on.
      • 6
COMPARE AND CONTRAST - Now, take your #1 PRO and compare it with your #1 CON. How do they stack up against each other? Which one is stronger in your mind? Is the benefit so great it is worth surmounting the negative in some way? Is the #1 CON so dire, so severe that it negates the positive entirely? Are there ways around the challenge?
      • 7
PRIORITIZE AGAIN - Decide which one wins out, the #1 PRO or the #1 CON. Highlight it. Go on to the number 2's. Compare and Contrast as before. Highlight the winner. Go on to number 3's, and so on through your list in like manner.
      • 8
WEIGH THE EVIDENCE - Now that you have all the winning thoughts, ideas and feelings highlighted, you should be able to notice whether there is more highlighted on the PROS or the CONS side. If it's too close to call, you may have to rethink some of them, but you should now see clearly which way you are leaning.
      • 9
DECIDE ON A PLAN OF ACTION - Now that you have clarified your position, you should be able to step forward in the direction of your new decision and face it with confidence and resolve.
      • 10
FOLLOW THESE STEPS - This method can work for any major dilemma or decision you are faced with, no mater what it is. It is very empowering and will give you a sense of peace and freedom as you capture those mental and emotional monsters and shrink them down to size.

How to know if someone is LYING

      • 1
Look for body language that might indicate someone is lying, such as not looking you in the eye when speaking to you, being fidgety, or acting nervous or uncomfortable.
      • 2
Listen for inconsistencies in what the person tells you, such as different stories on different days, different time frames, mistakes in remembering details or mixing up details.
      • 3
Notice if the person steadfastly resists answering any questions. Extreme defensiveness could mean that he or she is trying to hide something.
      • 4
Notice if the person accuses you of lying or being deceitful when you really haven't been. This could reflect the other person's own underlying behavior, which he or she is projecting onto you rather than owning up to it.
      • 5
Listen to your gut and intuition. You may just know someone is lying. If you are not sure, don't jump to conclusions. Try to get some evidence to back up your hunch.
      • 6
Consider asking directly if the person has lied to you. Many people feel bad getting caught up in lies, and find it a relief to finally be honest.
      • 7
Try to be understanding and listen to the person's reasons for lying. Was he trying not to hurt you? Was she afraid you would be angry, upset or disappointed?
      • 8
Look at your possible role in having someone lie to you. Are you someone who gets so upset hearing the truth that others feel they can't be honest with you?

How to Act Like a Lady ^_^

Acting like a lady is a skill that takes time to learn. Most ladies learn their ladylike behavior from the time they're little girls. However, you can learn to act like a lady later in life too. A few etiquette classes and practice will get you on your way to ladylike behavior.

      • 1
Observe other ladies to see how they act. Watch old movies, and actresses like Audrey Hepburn, to get a good feel for how a lady should conduct herself.
      • 2
Enroll in etiquette classes. Many times these are geared for younger girls; however, most etiquette teachers will teach students of any age.
      • 3
Keep your voice down and never yell because it makes you look unattractive and unladylike. Keep your curse words to a minimum and maintain your composure.
      • 4
Learn to walk. Ladies don't walk like they should be wearing overalls, they learn to walk, and even run, in high heels. Also, learn how to sit and exit a car properly so you don't show anything the world shouldn't see.
      • 5
Dress like a lady by not showing too much skin. Dressing ladylike requires you to toss out your micro mini skirts and fishnet stockings and opt for a flowing skirt, silk stockings and pearls.
      • 6
Read up on the latest trends and fashion as well as classic literature and poetry. Being a well-rounded person will help you act like a lady in many situations.
